Biography
A partial sampling of Mr. D'Amico's cases includes the following:
The Ashland Oil Spill, a class action resulting in a $30,000,000 settlement for property damage and business interruption as a result of the release of oil from a ruptured oil tank.
A wrongful death claim on behalf of the parents of an infant who died as a result of the ingestion of an anti-heartburn medication known as PropulsidTM. The infant's death and the resulting litigation were major contributing factors in the FDA's order to discontinue the sale of PropulsidTM in the United States.
A premises liability claim on behalf of a worker who developed acute myelogenous leukemia as a result of occupational exposure to toxic fumes emanating from coke batteries.
